verse 14: To find Joy, you must give. Giving is a smart investment, a good decision in following Christ
verse 15: It is unusual to find truly giving people. Money is everything to a lot of people. 20% of the people give 80% of the income to any ministry.
verse 16: Author wants to affirm them of how important and unique they are and how much their giving means to him and to God. They gave over and over and over again. The people were crucial and should continue to give in Joy.
verse 17: Giving increases our fullness and our ability to make a difference and to feel the significance of our efforts. What would you like to see done for the work of Christ? You must be the one to make the change.
Take a look at what's printed on U.S. money: "In God we Trust". Listen to your money! Give, and trust in God. Why does giving bring Joy? Because we realize that our life counts and we can make a difference for God. Giving enhances our worship: to know that we are worshipping significantly and that our giving is a sweet aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
